				Constitution of the Association
				SPOKE is an acronym derived from Spalding Peddlers on Killer Expedition.
				The active members of SPOKE 10 in 10 are Gary Bentley, Tim Stray, Alan Harris and Chris Peel.
				The purpose of the SPOKE 10 in 10 association is for all 4 members to complete a journey from Italy to Spalding on pedal cycles, including visiting 10 different countries in total, over 10 days between the chosen dates of Wednesday 25th August and the Saturday 4th September 2010 consecutively.
				Aims of Spoke 2010
				The first aim of the project is for all members to derive pleasure and satisfaction from the adventure.
				The second aim of the project is to raise an amount of money by means of charitable donations and through specific fund-raising exercises for 4 charity causes, being Orchid (men’s cancer charity), Breakthrough (women’s cancer charity)  Lincolnshire Air Ambulance and Lighthouse Youth of Spalding.  This will be paid over during 2010 and not before the ride has completed.
				Finances
				Fund-raising events for Charity will include exhibition days at shopping centres, collection boxes, bag packs at supermarkets, donations from friends, family and business connections, sponsorship on clothing, sale of branded items, etc.
				Whilst each member will be responsible for providing an appropriate cycle and providing for own food and entertainment during the trip, a small number of events possibly including car boot sales, football competitions, race night etc. will also be organised to raise expenses for travel, accommodation and other necessary expenses.
				The officers of SPOKE 2010 as far as financial responsibilities are concerned are Gary Bentley and Alan Harris, who will be the signatories on official accounts.  They are also joint treasurers for the association.
				Two accounts, one for Charity donations and one for expenditure, are to be put in place at Norwich and Peterborough Building Society.  Any cheque made payable to SPOKE 2010 can only be deposited in the Charity account and it is rule that this cannot be used to further expenses on the trip.  Any cheque being made in furtherance of raising expenses must be payable to Gary Bentley and Alan Harris.
